What's Included
Our Pool Tables are supplied with a Free Accessory Pack which includes:
- 1 x Set of Aramith 2" Red & Yellow Pool Balls.
- 1 x Black Plastic Triangle.
- 1 x Piece of Chalk.
- 2 x Pool Cues (48" or 57" depending on the size of the pool table).
Corners
The Outback MR model is fitted with new Metal die-cast chrome-plated corners featuring the DPT logo. These new corners have recessed pockets liners for unrestricted cueing, this is a unique feature.
Top Frame
The Outback top frames are made to the highest standard, providing the best and most comfortable cueing position.
The top frames are slightly wider than other manufacturers, making for a more stable frame and a better ball response.
The top frames are constructed from 36mm plywood with high pressure laminate to stand the test of time.
The top frames are attached to the body of the pool table using 10 quick release high tension clips that provide complete stability within the table, meaning an overall more enjoyable playing experience and better ball response that is consistent on all cushions.
Moisture Resistant
Ball Return
The Ball Return system is a great feature. Ball Return system means, as the balls are potted into the pockets of the pool table, they roll down inside the table back to one end ready for the next game. Not all tables offer this feature, and the balls sit in the pockets as they are potted. This is a pain, and you must keep emptying the pockets as they fill up.
Slate playfield
We only supply pool tables with Genuine slate beds, for a trouble free playing surface. The Outback range have slates that are 19 mm thick and have been precision ground on computer-controlled machinery for a perfectly flat and level surface.
Slate has been used on billiard, Snooker and Pool tables for over 200 years!
Outdoor Cover
All DPT Outdoor Pool tables are supplied with a custom UK manufactured outdoor cover to protect the table.
The outdoor cover must be kept on the table at all times when being stored outside in order to protect the table from any damage that could be caused by things such as rain.
If the table gets wet please fully dry the table before placing the cover on top, as, if the table is not dry when the cover is put on this could lead to a build up of mould on the table.
Custom Outdoor Cloth
The Outback Outdoor and Outback MR Pool tables are fitted with DPT top quality custom napless cloth, manufactured exclusively for DPT Tables.
This cloth is designed to withstand the test of time against the elements outside. Standard Pool tables are generally fitted in wool cloth but wool cloth would not withstand the elements and would rot when used outdoors/damper atmospheres.
DPT outdoor pool table cloth is manufactured for outdoor usage.
Build your table
The Outback MR Outdoor Free play slate bed Pool Table is a bestselling UK made Pool Table.
The Outback has all the standard features of the Omega Pro and Outback Outdoor Pool Table range, but it is suitable to use in damper atmospheres.
This Model is only Available in a 7ft Model.
The Outback MR is manufactured from moisture resistant MDF. This material is manufactured to be used in areas where there is moisture, such as swimming pool rooms, cold/unheated garages or man caves, covered outdoor area’s etc and the tables still include the same heavy duty protective cover.
However there are still some points to consider. The parts of the table that are not laminated (the inside and base) may discolour and show signs of mould, mildew and pollution over time. You can use a suitable cleaning product to try and help clean the table, but it’s really not necessary as it will not affect the play, it’s only cosmetic and unseen on these parts. It is also still good to allow the table to fully air out and breathe on dry, warmer days.
Never allow the table to be exposed to rain. Store the table under cover and out of direct sunlight. If kept outside, but under cover all year round, the table will weather and age and this will impact the life of the table, the wooden parts will age and show signs as would any wooden product that is left outdoors. Wood will naturally contract and expand due to the humidity, heat and seasons. Bubbles and Hairline cracks can appear to open or close accordingly.
The Outback MR was made due to the increase in the cost of materials. DPT wanted to see if they could reduce the price by using alternative materials but still keeping the quality features as the DPT Outback Plywood table. And this they have achieved this with the Outdoor MR table.
The Outback MR is only available in two different table Finishes: Grey Oak and White.
There are two cloth colour options to choose from, which are both Napless (speed) cloth: Blue and Grey.
The Outback MR Pool Table is supplied with accessories: 2 x cues, Aramith Red & Yellow balls, triangle and chalk.
